What is there left when you’ve seen through all of the illusions?
Just a flat line?
No more days of extreme happiness…
And no more days of extreme sadness…
Will that be life?
After enlightenment…
After having realized the truth completely.
Will it be a decision to step into your roles?
All the different characters you believe you ARE as we speak.
Could that decision become harder and harder to make?
For it would require effort to ACT as e.g. ‘the parent who needs to raise his child.’
Can you imagine for a moment that right now you would pick up a child from the street and you would be forced to act as if it were your own and that you would have to raise him as a successful adult? That you need to keep this act alive for the rest of your life.
Do you want to keep acting?
Or understand the movie you play in…
What if someone told you, Santa did not exist?
You would not believe it at first.
But something inside you craves to find out.
Can you continue to live without exploring for yourself?
Perhaps some children can.
Can you?
What matters to you?
Is living life in clarity, not the most important thing?
What if the only clarity you would ever get is that you do not know ANYTHING.
And that only that is certain.
Would you still want it?
Even if it were the truth?
Warning: The truth means risking everything you think you know.
OR do you want conditional truth…
Conditional love…
Conditional wealth…
Conditional death…
You will die.
And even that could not be true.
What do you really, honestly know?
You are a child who believes to be an adult who knows it all.
The question is, will you keep believing it?
What is the difference between the child who does not explore,
Does not want to know if Santa exists or not,
And the child that NEED to know.
Is it that the latter child can’t live NOT having known?
That the alternative is so bad…
That the imagined pain and regret of having lived in his illusion, while he could have found out…
That this idea is simply ‘too much’?
That this is what propels him forward?
A transformational moment for any human can happen.
Precisely when the pain of unknowing outweighs the comfort of ignorance.
What about the other child who would had the chance to read this…
After reading this, how could he return to his childhood?
How could he not want to find out?
Perhaps there is no explanation for it.
Or I haven’t found it yet.
What is certain,
Is there is a possibility,
For the child who is ready.
The one who is ready could soon be a snake having lost all his skin.
The reason we may never know.
All we see,
Is a newborn snake.
One that lives, outside the zoo.
It depends on you and you alone.
Will you hold onto Santa’s presents?
Or be willing to let go with the possibility of receiving nothing in return?
Don’t waste time on ‘deciding’.
The decision has already been made.

Once you see the truth so clear,
Will stepping into roles bring cheer?
Playing the parent, friend, or guide,
Would acting these roles still satisfy?
If the only truth is knowing I don’t know,
Would I still want to let my ignorance go?
To risk everything for a glimpse of light,
Even if it means an endless night?
Conditional truth, love, and wealth,
Do they matter more than knowing oneself?
We will all die, but what is true,
In this life we wander through?
When the pain of not knowing outweighs the ease,
Transformation begins with such unease.
A period of change, a shift in view,
What else are you here to do,
But to seek the truth, and see it through?
